@Pieter: Soon we will release the account registration part where people can choose whatever they want as a username. :) In the meantime the numbers are there to make everyone unique.

The stars are a paizo.com thing, not a thing we can just use I am afraid. :)
By default it will search everything, because you might use it for scenarios, others also search modules, etc. Though I am planning on making it remember your searches and settings. That should take care of the situation.
