While I can understand why you chose this method, I have my doubts whether this was the best option. Not everyone will have a 5-9 or 7-11 character, let alone the interest or confidence to play a pregen. I'm worried that might put people off from showing up.
Luckily, we can swap, but could you define 'swap' a bit? Are people free to withdraw from a session in order to join a different one at their own will, or do they actually have to trade places with someone occupying the slot they want?

I am going to be assiging because otherwise it is just not possible to get people to be in slots. Once that is done people can swap a bit where possible. :)
