Most PFS adventures are written with two difficulty settings (high and low subtier). It's looking like this one might end up being played at high tier, looking at the levels in Warhorn. In that case I recommend bringing a level 4 pregen. Kyra (cleric) is of course popular, but I can also recommend Zadim (slayer). That one works very smoothly at level 4.
Mixing levels is allowed, but most of the time it's nicer if everyone's in the right subtier. People playing a high-level character in a low subtier game make things a bit too easy, while low-level characters playing up are in bigger danger than they may be ready for. A level 1 character doesn't normally have the hit points to survive a tier 4-5 encounter (often CR 6-7). About the character: I've tried creating some level 1's by using the info from the PRD off Paizo's site. Will that do, or should I rather take one of the level 4 pregens for this adventure? I'm not sure how well different-level characters will mix, since I only used to play traditional campaign, where everyone was within one level difference of each other.
