Hi folks,
-- I'm new here, wanted to ask a question about the PFS night in Utrecht next Thursday.
Since I'm new, a short introduction seems in order. I live near Groningen, 34 years old, work in IT. I used to play a lot of D&D, in high school and during my study. With work and such, this changed. It hasn't been possible to keep a group together for a campaign, so I haven't played for quite some years. Last week, I read an article by Maite in the Spel! magazine and my interest in Pathfinder was piqued. However, since I live up North, there don't seem to be any opportunities to play in the vicinity.
Now, luck would have it that I'll be in Utrecht next week Thursday and Friday, because of work. I hadn't planned to stay the night, but I saw on Warhorn that there was a gaming night at the Leidsekade venue on Thursday the 16th, with a spot left. Seems like a great opportunity. :) That brings me to the questions: Would it be OK to join that session, as a Pathfinder 'newbie'? I don't have any books of course and haven't read a lot about the Pathfinder world, but I'm familiar with the 3.5 ruleset and I'm a pretty quick learner. Should be fine, I guess? Also, is the 1-5 adventure "The Temple of Empyreal Enlightenment" suitable for a fresh level 1 character?
Cheers,
Ivo
