Re: [PFS NL] play by post core Crypt of the Everflame or Godsmouth Heresy mustering

I've never played Pathfinder/D&D PbP, but in general, it's a lot slower, because not everyone responds in time. Some DMs I played with like to call initiative, everyone responding to another, another I played with says, "what are you going to do this round?" and everyone can respond at the same time, and things will resolve in initiative order, which is a lot faster (if you're tactful, you can "program" a few steps ahead, saying "I'll hit the thing closest to me," or "I'll keep hitting unless someone needs healing", and then roll a few dice in advance), but sometimes kind of messy.
In general, it leaves for much more roleplay, as it's much slower and you can respond to one another while we're waiting for a response from another player.

For my character, I'm a Cleric of Gorum, so I'll wade into melee a lot. Don't expect many buffs or channels from me. >_>

I'd advise running it in the meatsuit, yes. Emerald Spire is a lot of fun, but I expect it loses something when not in the same room.

I've never done a play by post. How does it work?
