Re: [PFS NL] Re: PFS sunday 11 October

It would mean we would have to comply by their rules and signup system. Meetup is nice, but signups happen with comments and then a moderator edits your event.
Also, I've noticed their are a lot more ruled by no-shows and have a stricter leadership structure. If no leadership can make it to an event, an event is canceled.
We are much more focused at a GM being in charge of their own table, so if one GM cant make it, it does not mean the event has to be canceled. (we just find a new GM).
If we had adhered to their structure/signup, "Goblin day" would have been canceled. No leadership, no PRG meetup. And no location if they cancel.

While working with them  could really work for locations that struggle to make tables, Utrecht is starting to get big enough to be able to host enough tables on their own. It would be a shame to cancel our tables if they cant make it. And if they do make it, the people who would like to game more relyably would probably be more interested in our way of gaming.

Sceduling tables trough Meetup would be a nice sollution for Amsterdam I would think, where getting a foothold has been hard.

We should not be afraid to experiment to see what works best. If we can relyably share a location, it would benefit both the RPG guild and PFS. Of course we can try other things as well, but its an oppurtunity that's already there, and would cost us a minimum of effort. We could for exampme limit tables to four of five players in case people from the guild would like to join one of our tables.

And since our PFS group plays more then just Pathfinder, some of ours have the oppurtunity to try out other systems.
